SAPOL Cop Tim Waverley Morrison Facing Serious Domestic Violence Charges

Another South Australia Police officer has been charged with domestic violence.
Tim Waverley Morrison allegedly pulled his police-issue revolver and a knife on his ex-wife.
The 35-year-old cop was stationed at Christies Beach police station before his arrest in February.
The alleged domestic violence incidents occurred between June and December 2019 at Aldinga Beach.
Morrison was on duty and used his own service revolver during one of the alleged assaults.
Morrison, who still resides in the beachside suburb according to the court, has been charged with aggravated assault, aggravated threatening to kill or endanger life, aggravated committing assault with a weapon and damaging property.
“Tim Waverley Morrison, without lawful excuse, threatened to kill or endanger the life of (his former partner) intending to arouse a fear that the threat would be, or was likely to be carried out,” the documents allege.
“It is further alleged that Mr Morrison used an offensive weapon, namely a firearm, to commit or when committing the offence.”
Another charge alleges he used a knife to threaten her.
Morrison was alleged to be on-duty when he used his service pistol to threaten his ex-wife, according to 7News.
SAPOL has told the media that Morrison had been suspended without pay, but would not comment on matters “currently before the courts”.
Morrison remains on bail ahead of his next court appearance in August, when he is expected to answer the charges.
