South Australia Police Officer Arrested and Suspended Over Alleged Abuse of Public Office

Detectives from South Australia Police’s Anti-Corruption Section arrested a 44-year-old male police officer on Friday, 9 January 2026, from the north-eastern suburbs as part of an ongoing investigation.
The man has been charged with abuse of public office and has been granted bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 1 April 2026.
Following his arrest, the officer has been suspended from duty (with pay). Like all these assholes, he gets a holiday with pay before being found guilty and getting a slap on the wrist from our corruption-friendly courts.
SAPOL has provided no further information.
This arrest does little to change the reality that the most corrupt SAPOL cops of all remain firmly at the helm of this filthy institution. Of course, the Anti-Corruption Section will never investigate the deviant criminal scum they take their orders from.
