The partner of a man who became unresponsive during a recent arrest says she warned officers he’d done nothing wrong and had pre-existing medical conditions.

The cops ignored her pleas and assaulted him. Video footage shows one cop kicking the man unnecessarily, before he and another gutless goon drag the man to the ground.

Amritpal Kaur said her partner, father of two Gaurav Kundi, remains in a critical condition in Royal Adelaide Hospital after the incident on Payneham Rd last week.

“Doctor is saying his brain is totally damaged,” she told 9 NEWS. “Maybe he will wake up if brain works or maybe he will not.”

Ms Kaur said Mr Kundi was injured when his head hit a police car and the road.

She said the cops had mistakenly believed he was assaulting her when, in fact, he had just been drunk and had pushed her away when she told him to return home.

“I keep saying (to the police) he’s not well, he’s not well, please don’t do this, just call the ambulance,” she said.

“The policeman thinks he’s assaulting me and doing domestic violence on the road.”

“But the policeman is wrong. He’s just drunk, that’s why he’s loud. Nothing else.”

Police say the man resisted officers during the arrest, about 2.45am on Thursday morning. He has not been charged.

SAPOL cops always claim people resist arrest, and often yell out “stop resisting!!” even when video footage shows the person being restrained face down by multiple cowards and completely unable to resist.

A police spokesperson said SAPOL had nothing further to add to a statement released last week which said officers witnessed an altercation between a man and a woman on Payneham Rd and that during an attempt to arrest the 42-year-old man from Modbury North, he became unresponsive.

So we’ll respond on SAPOL’s behalf:

“Our goons witnessed a drunk man barely able to stand upright lamely push his wife on Payneham Rd. Clearly, this was a situation calling for extreme violence, which our cowardly sociopaths were only too happy to provide. Ganging up on unarmed people is one of the few ways the losers who make up SAPOL can feel good about themselves and achieve a sense of power and control in life. We’ll get our corrupt boss to front the cameras and do a bad job of acting concerned, and get him to declare that he’s called for a commissioner’s investigation. Be assured nothing of substance will happen. All officers involved remain on duty. At worst, we’ll try and weasel out of this with a settlement and non-disclosure agreement. Which you taxpayers will have to foot the bill for. Now piss off, we’ve got revenue to raise and more innocent people to harass and bash. It’s also time to count our weekly drug earnings, and do our rounds of the whorehouses to collect our extortion fees.”
