Another SAPOL Cop Charged with Stalking, Aggravated Assault, Suspended WITH Pay
A serving South Australian police officer has been charged with a string of serious charges, including stalking and aggravated assault, and will continue to receive pay while suspended from duty.
The male officer was arrested on Friday by SA Police’s Internal Investigation Detectives following a probe into his conduct.
His charges include aggravated assault, breaching an intervention order, stalking and using a carriage service to menace and using a carriage service to make a threat.
The northern suburbs man has been suspended from the force but will retain his pay.
He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in December.
SA Police said it would not be making any further comments, citing the matter is now before the courts.
