Ex-SAPOL Cop, Drug Dealer, Prostitute & Wannabe Rapper Hayley May Greenwood Back in Court

Hayley May Greenwood, one of the many oddballs to emerge from the corrupt asylum that is SAPOL, is back in court again.
The former South Australian police officer was jailed with a non-parole period of 18 months in April 2018 for drug trafficking.
Greenwood, who had been selling methamphetamine and associating with at least one drug trafficker while a cop, argued the charges against her were “silly” because she was “off-duty” when she sold the drugs.
She also said drug-dealing was a “victimless crime” and she “did not sell drugs to children, only to fellow users”
Less than a month after her sentencing, it was revealed Greenwood – in addition to working as a police officer and a drug dealer – also moonlighted as a prostitute called “Chase” at a brothel in Findon.
Greenwood’s alias and photos featured on the brothel’s social media accounts, which came to life after she inadvertently left her handbag — full of drug paraphernalia — on a street in the Adelaide CBD.
In 2015, Greenwood responded to her arrest by posting a cringe rap video called “Sky High” in which she spoke of being “a superhero” and “wearing a disguise” like Batman.

Like many SAPOL cops, Greenwood is clearly a few fries short of a Happy Meal.
Little surprise then that she’s back in court, after allegedly stealing a car while the subject of an arrest warrant over other vehicle-related charges.
Greenwood is also now pregnant, the court has been told.
Oh joy. An ex-cop, drug dealer and hooker is about to become a mum. What could possibly go wrong there?
Adelaide Magistrates Court documents allege Greenwood drove or used a motor vehicle, without the consent of its owner, at Croydon Park on March 16 this year.
Greenwood was wanted by SAPOL at that time over accusations she took, and attempted to on-sell, a friend’s car and a hire car after removing the licence plates in 2023.
Just five days after the alleged incident, the court issued a second warrant for her arrest on charges of theft, failing to keep a safe distance and failing to give details to police in 2024.
Greenwood told the court she intended to represent herself, was due to give birth in August, and had recently moved to a new address – meaning her bail should be varied.
“I intend to get legal advice (but) I’ve had a lot going on with the pregnancy and all,” she said.
“I need to have discussions with the prosecution, I think a lot of these matters could be resolved and I’ve yet to receive any disclosure or anything yet.”
Magistrate Brian Nitschke said the time was “fast approaching” for Greenwood to sort out her response to the allegations against her.
“It seems to me you have many matters outstanding … the court will want to move them along,” he said.
“I’ve heard what you’ve said, now you need to decide what you wish to do … eventually, we will be setting all of these matters for trial.”
He varied Greenwood’s bail address and remanded her to face a pre-trial conference in June.
