SAPOL Detective Matthew Alan Thomson Repeatedly Bashed Wife & Young Daughter, Cops Ignored the Abuse
Pure evil: Former SAPOL detective Matthew Alan Thomson abused his ex-wife and daughter for years; his SAPOL mates looked the other way.
Stella Magnisalis, who suffered years of brutal abuse at the hands of SAPOL psychopath Matthew Alan Thomson, has revealed how her desperate calls for help were deliberately ignored by his police comrades.
Over the years, Thomson repeatedly threatened to kill her. He stomped on her, kicked her head “like a ball” and left her covered in bruises.
In a sickening annual ritual, the psychotic Thomson even rubbed excrement in his ex-wife’s face.
“Every year on my birthday, I cannot erase the smell, the texture, feeling utterly degraded after you wiped faeces on my face. Every year, that moment lives inside me.”
Despite the horrific abuse, calls to police were “never truly heard and always overlooked.”
“I do not trust the police … the system failed to protect me … missed opportunities to intervene were used to protect you by the ‘boys in blue'”, Stella said in court.
People, this is why you should never date or marry cops. When they start physically abusing you, who are you going to turn to … the police?!?
Good luck with that.
The sad truth is that the system is not – and never has been – designed to protect the public. The system is in place to preserve the status quo. It is is designed to ensure that the corrupt sexual deviants in power, and the robotic goons who protect them and enforce their policies, keep their power and privileges.
The average South Australian is still too slow and gullible to understand that criminal and deviant behavior is far higher among police than the general public.
Take the 2016 Equal Opportunity Commission investigation that found the incidence of predatory behaviour (i.e. the misuse of authority or influence to exploit others for sexual or other personal gratification) in SAPOL was 21 per cent higher than the general workforce figure (49% vs 28%, respectively). When compiling its report, the EOC heard from around 2,000 respondents – around 30% of SAPOL. Of these, 36% had personally experienced sexual harassment and 45% had personally experienced sex discrimination. Respondents reported everything from lewd comments to rape committed by the same filth that pretends to be “Keeping SA Safe”.
If you think things have changed, think again. Earlier this year, sleazeball Wade Burns was re-elected by SAPOL members as head of the police union, despite it now being common knowledge that the married father of two sexually assaulted a female colleague at an Adelaide nightclub in 2017.
Thomson’s terror campaign was not confined to his wife. He also physically assaulted his young daughter. Eight year old Frances told Thomson in court:
“I still remember when you slapped my face and you gave me a blood nose … Matthew don’t contact me … what you did to my mum was disgusting, gross and unacceptable.”
Yes, stop trying to contact your daughter, Thomson. You’re a piece of filthy, stinking garbage and she hates you.
Apart from your overpaid loser SAPOL mates, we all hate you.
Thomson’s lawyer, Peter Morrison, who has no qualms representing the smelliest sewerage South Australia can produce, claimed Thomson was “physically abused” by his father as a child. Even if true (remember, it’s a lawyer and a cop making the claim, two of the most dishonest demographics on the planet), then boo bloody hoo. Half the male population was probably belted by their grumpy bastard fathers as children, but they don’t go bashing their partners and rubbing faeces in their faces, do they?
Getting smacked as a child is no excuse and no explanation for Thomson’s sick, twisted and sadistic abuse. If this is the best explanation Thomson’s liar-for-hire can concoct, then it confirms Thomson is a psychotic freak who needs to be forever locked away from the rest of the world.
Morrison asked that Thomson, who is yet to be sentenced, receive home detention instead of jail, so that his client can keep posting rubbish on Tiktok and be with his new wife who, it must be said, has spectacularly bad taste in men.
Thomson, his new wife, and baby son now live in Queensland. According to government records, he was recently assigned an ABN as a sole trader. His enterprise, the nature of which remains unclear, bears his own name and ABN records cite its location as “QLD 4115” (Brisbane suburbs Algester and Parkinson).
His lawyer also tried arguing jail would be a rough place for an ex-cop, but all that shows is that jail is exactly where Thomson needs to be. His ex-wife and daughter will be forever traumatized, but Thomson wants to move on like everything is okay now.
Police are paid very handsomely to do a very poor job, and are endowed with privileges the rest of us are not. If $100,000+ salaries are not enough incentive for them to behave themselves and live up to the responsibility and trust they have been granted, then they should receive much harsher penalties than similarly-charged civilians. Using police officer status as an excuse for lighter punishment is a complete affront to commonsense and common decency.
