SAPOL Cops Can’t Even Perform Simple U-Turn Without Causing an Accident
SAPOL’s pathetic driving standards are not getting any better, judging by a recent incident in Gawler.
A police spokesperson said a patrol car travelling north on Murray St attempted to stop a vehicle travelling south after the car was seen driving without any lights.
According to police, the driver of the patrol vehicle activated their emergency lights and conducted a U-turn to stop the vehicle.
The first thing any competent driver does before performing such a manoeuvre is to check the road is clear and that there is no traffic approaching from either direction.
The idiot at the wheel of the police vehicle didn’t bother with such formalities. Instead, he/she somehow managed to collide with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
The police vehicle collided with a black Holden Astra sedan travelling south, which then collided with a white Holden Cruze sedan travelling north.
The 54-year-old male driver of the Cruze, and the male officer in the front passenger seat of the police car were both taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
SAPOL said the circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
SAPOL Cops: To Dumb to U-Turn
SAPOL cops seem to have a hard time with the simple U-turn procedure, which involves turning your vehicle around 180 degrees in order to travel in the opposite direction.
In May 2019, this SAPOL simpleton thought she’d have a crack at the “World’s Shittest U-Turn” title by suddenly swerving across three lanes on the busy Southern Expressway. The inevitable consequences of her insane manoeuvre were captured in the video below.
In 2021, Daniel Daw, 25, was riding his scooter along Halifax Street in the Adelaide CBD when an idiot cop suddenly pulled out from the kerb.
The unnamed officer’s sudden U-turn was illegal, as he failed to indicate and also crossed an unbroken white line. The video footage also shows that, after emerging from a side street, the police vehicle proceeded in a lane reserved solely for bicycles before performing the U-turn.
The impact sent Daniel flying from his scooter and injured his shoulder.
After getting out of his car, the scumbag officer tried to shift the blame for the crash onto Daniel, asking “Didn’t you see an indicator?”
The video below clearly shows Officer Scumbag did not indicate to turn right.
SAPOL: A bunch of idiots who can’t even U-turn without crashing into innocent road users, who suddenly pull out and drive into pedestrians in broad daylight, who cause unnecessary hazards on notorious black spots in order to raise revenue, who run down cyclists while on duty then flee the scene, who roll over $300,000+ police cars in quiet back streets, who can’t even film a road safety ad without causing damage to people’s property, who defect other people’s vehicles while driving defective vehicles themselves!
These are the same idiots tasked with ensuring road safety in South Australia.
